My Jack…

This collection is both a tribute and a story we’re still telling together.

I love you to the moon and back Dad.

This is one of my favorite photos of my dad and me—caught mid-snort-laugh; which happened often. We shared a love of making things and telling stories, usually with our hands busy and a few choice words flying when things went sideways.

Jack was a lifelong maker—of furniture, pottery, jewelry, and unforgettable one-liners. He believed in craftsmanship, in figuring things out by doing, and in the power of a well-told story to turn even a mistake into something worth remembering. That spirit shapes the way I work—and the way I live.

Dad was always my first call when I needed help with a project. In my studio, I still feel him beside me. I hear him in the rhythm of my hammer, the whispered “well done Princess” when something finally fits, and muttered frustration for me when it doesn’t. The work connects us and keeps him alive for me in ways I did not expect, but deeply cherish.

Every piece I create carries his imprint: a bit of mischief, a lot of heart, and the kind of joy that comes from making something real with your own two hands.
